August 25, 2005Tasmanian Living Artists’ Week will be the island’s biggest visual arts event ever. From Friday 26 August to Sunday 4 September hundreds of Tassie artists will be involved in a program of:
-workshops
-exhibitions
-artists’ talks
-art trails
-open studios
-culinary events at award winning venues
In Hobart and Launceston a free bus circuit will link more than 20 art spaces as part of opening night festivities.
At Peppermint Bay 35 minutes south of Hobart, 20 of Tassie’s most exciting sculptors will be exhibiting and selling their work in the inaugural Peppermint Bay Sculpture Prize.
