September 22, 2005A wide range of community organisations centred around the Spring Creek Community Centre will run their sixth ‘Living sustainably-living green’ event at the Surfworld in Beach Rd Torquay, on October 23rd.
There will be guided tours of local eco-friendly houses and properties set up for sustainability plus organic produce, wine and cheese, music and other entertainment. Locals and tourists will be able to attend a forum with specialist lecturers and general discussion on environmental sustainability. Info on commercial products and services will be available and there will be children’s activities focussing on the promotion of sustainable living.
