No Limits is an award winning community television show that looks at living life to the fullest with a disability. It is a panel chat show that includes location stories from around Australia, presented by people with disabilities for the enjoyment of anyone who wants to know more about disability. It has been on air on C31 in Melbourne since June 2003 and is now also broadcast in Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane. There are many people with disabilities involved in the production of No Limits and more are being trained all the time.
‘No Limits’ won ‘Program of the Year’ and ‘Best Panel Program’ at the Community Television Antenna Awards 2005. There was heaps of glitz and glamour as the event was broadcast live on community television in Melbourne and Brisbane with delayed telecasts in Perth, Adelaide and on Bushvision in Mt Gambier.
For people outside the broadcast area – individuals, lending libraries and community groups – there is a catalogue of past and current episodes for sale in the online store at www.nolimits.org.au. There are now more than 60 episodes to choose from which can be checked on the website’s Shows & Segments page.
