Several years ago, after a wonderful night at the Cairns Tropical Zoo, a Canberra mum bought her son Rafi a big, green, man-size t-shirt with the Zoo’s crocodile logo. Rafi wore it to bed every summer night since but finally it ‘fell to shreds’ in his hands. On November 6 they wrote and asked if the Zoo could ‘mail order’ another one?
On November 14 they wrote again saying ‘…the shirt arrived today and Rafi has gone off to bed in it, delighted to have a really red-eyed crocodile to ward off bad dreams (instead of the old faded one)! Thanks very much from both of us, and good luck with your great zoo.’
