Bairnsdale Neighbourhood House volunteer recognition program

The Bairnsdale Neighbourhood House (BNH)in Victoria’s East Gippsland region runs a monthly ‘Volunteer Recognition Program’.

Each month BNH holds a morning tea where they recognise the most outstanding contribution for the month. Volunteers get to know one another and find networks of support for each other.

Over 40 volunteers work at BNH so it is quite easy to loose track of what everyone is up to, especially new volunteers! This offers and opportunity for not only recognition but helps keep a team atmosphere going.
