November’s ‘Ignite!’ e-newsletter ‘for enterprising young people’ tells us that “as workers, people are predominantly driven by either:
1) achievement(producing results);
2) power (ego and status);
3) affiliation (connection with others) AND only 20% – 30% of the population is driven by achievement.
It asks the questions “Where do you stand – is your business/organisation achieving its goals, bogged down in politics, or a great people place to work? Which of these traits can you recognise in the people around you?”
I was reminded of a small business management quote from light years ago:
