The big players, the grassroots and the triple bottom line? making the connection!

On 1-2 May 2006 PWF will be running this Workshop in Adelaide at the third CISA (Community Information Systems Australia) conference: Connecting Up 06. We are collecting all ideas on how to get info out there, both up and down the community ladder.

We’d love you to submit any ideas you think work – it only takes a minute to type in a few words!

I think it would be great if you could tag your blog posts with the following tags:
“connnectingup2006” and “cu06” then, we can all join together in sharing ideas about the conference.

If you would like any help in the technicalities of doing this just yell out!

    If you go to:
    http://www.technorati.com/tags/connectingup2006
you will get an idea of what we are trying to achieve with these tags.

The following HTML code will include the tags in any blog post:
    Technorati Tags: connectingup2006,cu06

    Hope this is helpful

    HI All,
Gail and myself were chatting about emails the other day. I think email is great but sometimes I find it very frustrating. People dont always reply or they take days to respond. Was it just better when we picked up the phone and got an answer straight away? And if you recieve no reply from an email you are left wondering if the other person even got it at all. What does everyone else think? When is email best or worst and how does it help the little guys in business?
    Cheers Leah

Networking – What are the benefits?
Just another quick post. On the internet there are hundreds of forums and network groups on just about every topic. I find some of them good, becoming part of a online network forum can give you an opportunity to ask questions, get support and promote your product. The beauty is you can catch up with someone just about any time of the day or night, there always seems to be someone online to bounce ideas around with. But I dont think they replace the face to face. Many online networking forums now have members meets particularly in the capital cities. Members will meet over coffee or engage speakers and have workshops. So what are others thoughts on networking sites? Have they replaced face to face? and is online networking going to boom?
