BUSINESS CLUB AUSTRALIA: MELBOURNE 2006 is the official program designed to help businesses find international opportunities through the Commonwealth Games, 15-26 March 2006. Membership is free and it is attracting unprecedented interest from the domestic and international business community. Since it was launched in March 2005, the Business Club has attracted 5040 members – 2657 Australian and 2383 international businesses.
More than 30 business events will take place during the Games period at the Business Club’s venue, ‘Champions’ in Federation Square, Melbourne.
Members of the Club are able to meet and network through the Club’s online facilities or at the free networking events held over the duration of the Games.
Members can use the club’s business matching services to find and develop international business relationships.

Invest Australia – the Australian Government’s inward investment agency, with investment advisory specialists in 11 locations around the world – is a partner in the Business Club and will be using the opportunities provided by the Club to meet and host clients who are interested in Australia as a possible investment location.
