NT Arts Communities & Tourism joint venture

People can share their story about holidaying in the Northern Territory and have a chance to win $3000 worth of travel in the NT.

The ‘Share Your Story’ competition calls on writers to put their Territory
travels on paper and support ‘Wordstorm 2006’ the NT Writers Festival, Darwin.
You are required to submit a travel story that captures and conveys
the Northern Territory’s unique spirit and character, so the competition will provide a series of personal insights into a variety of Territory holiday experiences.

Articles must be 800 to 1500 words, entries will be short-listed by a panel and
finalists will be judged by Greg Lenthen – former Travel Editor of the Sydney
Morning Herald.

Mr Lenthen will also present a travel-writing workshop in Darwin in May as part
of Wordstorm 2006, the NT Writers Festival Darwin.

Final entries must be submitted to the NTTC by 5pm 2 June, 2006. The winning
entrant will be notified in writing and have their name posted www.nttc.com.au
on June 16.
