CONSULTANCY MANAGER
Natural Resource Management. Commercial & Community Programs. National Not-for-Profit, NGO. This multi-faceted organisation continues to evolve to meet the increasing community demand for Natural Resource Management services that comply with principles of ecological sustainability. As a not-for-profit, non-government organisation, all proceeds from commercial contracts are reinvested within the organisation in community programs, R&D, and ongoing restoration projects. Made up of a federation of state and territory bodies, this organisation is proudly committed to community empowerment and participation, and continually strives to form productive partnerships with all sectors of government, industry and community to deliver best-practice outcomes in natural resource management. They now seek to make the following key appointments in Brisbane. This pivotal role will see you manage the consultancy and innovation team that provides a range of specialised services in the areas of environmental assessment and management. Leading a team of consultants within this highly commercial arm, you will ensure projects deliver ecologically sustainable outcomes in a cost-effective, timely and professional manner – from inception and planning through to on-ground delivery and ongoing project support. Working closely with management, consultants and external advisors, you will build on the present consultancy services to establish new programs. Tertiary qualified in the area of environmental management or other relevant field, you will have been a successful environmental consultant experienced in land use management systems as they relate to natural resource management issues. Your demonstrated ability in coordination and supervision of a professional unit and all aspects of project and contract management will have covered planning, staff management, performance assessment, and financial monitoring and reporting.
