Administration/Finance Officer RCO 3. On going position – 38 hours p.w. Salary range $45,917 – $50,835 The Western Metropolitan Regional Council of Adult, Community and Further Education is one of nine Regional Councils operating across Victoria, appointed by the Minister for Education and Training under the Adult, Community & Further Education Act 1991. The Regional Councils are responsible for the administration of adult education in community settings such as Neighbourhood Houses and Learning Centres through the disbursement of Government funds, development of regional plans and the promotion, support and evaluation of adult education provision in their regions. A position exists within the Regional Office for an experienced administration officer who is also well versed in the operation of financial systems and who would enjoy working within a community/adult education environment. The principal role of the position is to provide executive and administrative support to the Regional Council and to effectively coordinate all aspects of the Council’s financial systems. The position is based at the Regional Office in North Melbourne. funds in Victoria and a key provider of cancer education and support services, is seeking
a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join the Community Relations and
Fundraising Unit. Reporting to the Donors and Bequests Manager, the Direct Mail Project Officer will manage the expanding direct mail, regular giving and In Memoriam programs. Income from these three areas currently contributes over $3 million per year to the Cancer Council’s extensive research, education and support programs, and is expected to increase in 2007. With a fundraising/marketing degree and/or demonstrated experience in a similar direct marketing or not-for-profit role, you will have a track record of achieving results, will possess strong project management skills and experience in planning, report writing, monitoring and evaluation. With excellent written and verbal communication abilities and sound problem solving and negotiation skills, you will be able to service donor needs, respond promptly to queries and work well under pressure.
