An important sector – 67.5% of all small business in Oz is run from home
HBB operators often comment on the sense of isolation they experience when working from home. Barbara Gabogrecan, a longtime advocate for the Micro Business sector – she has sat on a number of Government Committees to provide a ‘voice’ for sector – believes HBBs are more innovative and creative than many other small business operators because they often do not have many resources.
www.hbba.biz is designed to make businesslife easier and less stressful; it provides hyperlinks to websites recognised as providing value for the sector.
About the site & special support
Barb has come up with the idea of a members’ forum and local ‘Prospect Clubs’, so HBBA subscribers will be able to communicate with other members, build relationships online, and receive leads and referrals from fellow members and invited experts.
The referral network will help find cost effective services and products important to the success of their business, with the minimum of time. The site will also offer a number of free products and services for both members and visitors.
HBBA got off to a flying start with nearly 10,000 visitors coming to the site in the first week of the launch.
You can join online for $55 which entitles you to join a Prospect Club.
