WIMMERA PRIMARY CARE PARTNERSHIP Executive Officer

As part of a small team, the Executive Officer will be responsible for coordination of the day-to-day operations of the Wimmera PCP. The main objectives of the position are to assist in the development of the WPCP’s 2006-2009 Wimmera Healthy Communities Plan, and in the development and implementation of coordinated primary care services within the Wimmera region. The position has a particular focus on community development, health promotion and partnership development.To undertake this role successfully, you will need to have: an understanding of Primary Care Partnerships; relevant tertiary qualifications and/or knowledge and experience; knowledge and experience in the planning, delivery and evaluation of health promotion and/or community development programs; a clear understanding of the concept of partnership development; sound consultation, problem solving and group process skills and experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills.You will also be responsible for the management of a small team.
