A PWF workshop: Melbourne, 11am Sunday 18 in the ‘Feel’ tent
The Sustainable Living Festival is a three-day event held in the heart of the city at Fed. Square. People interested in ‘rethinking the way we live’ gather to celebrate and explore six ‘living’ themes: Think, Feel, Create, Design, Feast and Play.…..the vision, passion, art, function, taste and ‘thrill’ of sustainable living.
Eight years on this event is now so big – it attracts around 120,000 over 3 days – you have to pass a selection panel to take part. There are interactive displays, demonstrations, artworks, exhibits, designs, films, multimedia and live performances.
In the Feel tent, PWF will present one of the Festival’s Talk events, titled ‘The Grassroots, Citizen Journalism & the Triple Bottom Line’. I’ll be introducing PWF and testing the water with the idea of a Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE), an idea introduced a few weeks ago in WHY DO we buy lettuce in a SEALED BAG?
If you’re in Melbourne over the weekend of 16-18 Feb, do head on down to Fed Square. I’d love to meet some of you there Sunday 18!
