PWF reader, Bev Fisher tells us the Rural Women On The Move’s Annual Women On Farms Gathering takes place this year in the badly drought-affected Shepparton.
No doubt that the ways rural families are coping with the drought will be the conference’s biggest talking point.
Women on Farms Gatherings have been running annually since 1990 and have built up a proud tradition of providing inspirational and unique networking opportunities in a positive and fun environment.
This year’s Gathering features:
Life on the land is tough and the women often carry the burden of trying to keep everything together. Often women put themselves last in an effort to make sure everyone else is okay and so it is very important that women give themselves a break and relax and unwind so that they can go back home with renewed vigor to fight another day.

What a great domain name!If women will gather then pigs will fly!
Yes, the WoFG crowd are gathering again. Like many of them I am hoping that we can support each other, lighten the load for 48 hours, bring some economic benefit to the region, renew depleted energy and old friendships, share stories of tragedy AND triumph and generally have a great experience.
Good on you Elaine – hope you’ll all be celebrating a huge Autumn break!
