May 28, 2007No dry old format for the Melbourne-based Sustainable Living Foundation (SLF)! At its AGM this coming Thursday, 31 May, they will run a ‘live in the studio’ Great Debate – ’Technological Makeover or Social Transformation?’ . People are invited to join the studio audience to share ideas and insight and help shape the debate which will be recorded live for pod cast.

Take the Toorak number 8 Tram from Flinders St and get off at cnr Domain Rd and Domain Ave/Park st (Tram Stop 24). Walk one block down Park St, turn right into St Martins Ln.
Discussion will be fuelled by sustainable snacks – drinks available at bar prices.

The Sustainable Living Directory is an online consumer resource that empowers people with the information and alternatives for making more sustainable purchasing choices in their everyday shopping practice.
Enterprise
The Sustainable Living Enterprise provides support for small emerging businesses and not-for-profit organisations aiming to conduct their operations in line with sustainability principles. Enterprise provides seminars and sounding board services, as well as networking between like-minded organisations, potential suppliers and customers.
Network
The Sustainable Living Network represents a large number of special interest groups including education, intentional communities, sustainable cities, green building, sustainable transport, water, food and agriculture, design and art. Participation in these groups helps to shape the continuing evolution of this highly collaborative organisation as well as accelerating the uptake of sustainable living.
