Waverley Industries (WI), of Notting Hill, Melbourne – a Not-for-Profit operating since 1984 – provides employment opportunities for disabled people. With a new warehouse and undercover storage area that can accommodate semi trailers and containers they now have approximately 600sqM of free floor space in the production area and they are seeking new long term ongoing agreement / contract work with other clients.
WI specialises in packaging, collating, labelling, mail outs, shrink-wrapping, and various types of assembly work ranging from small component assembly to complete product assembly. They can cut and assemble any plastics, perspex, metals and woods to produce items such as:
WI teams work on a completed product basis rather than as an assembly line and stringent quality control processes ensure clients the best results. They have managed products for more than 1000 clients and currently have over 200 ongoing long term relationships.
Using expertise and high tech equipment, they are able to produce simple one piece products through to complex precision assemblies.
WI is willing to install any machinery or automation that may be required to assist in doing this work.
Already recognised as an industry leader WI currently employs 190+ disabled adults and is looking at expanding its workforce to meet the ever increasing demands of customers.
