Workingconnections has been the job support service of ARPA Over 50s Association for six years. ARPA is currently merging with National Seniors Association.
The Goals:
-Regular training and networking sessions
-Individual jobsearch support – e.g. assistance with CVs, individual counselling and advice, and
-Referral, where possible, to any work opportunities that fit your individual work preferences.
Don’t overlook mature jobseekers when it comes to filling those crucial job and contract vacancies..
This generation of workers comes with stability, experience, good skills and a good work ethic – and they don’t usually want to take over the company! They just want to make a valid contribution and be rewarded accordingly. This cohort can often afford to be more flexible in their working arrangements than younger workers, too.
And that all adds up to a recipe for business success.
