About Ben Burn
The company is NASAA certified Organic and its Director/Owner is Andrew Jones.
New accommodation quarters are currently being built – almost complete – and experienced helpers are welcome to help complete this.
There is space to park caravans and the bathroom is shared with the owner until new facility is completed.
Casual Work Stints
- Packing Dried Vine Fruits: Sultanas, Currants & Raisins April to October
- Picking and packing Oranges : August to October (variable crop, depends on weather condition)
- Picking and packing Avocadoes: June to December (variable crop, depends on weather condition)
- Picking and packing Table Grapes: 27 December to mid February (variable crop, depends on weather condition)
- Picking Grapes for drying, also cart and rackwork: mid February to mid April (variable crop, depends on weather condition)
- Pruning, Pulling old vine branches off wires and rolling down new growth: June/July
- Maintenance Work on Packing Shed and much more!
