Just received this… sounds interesting so I’m passing it on…
G’day, how’s it going? My name is Tim Denshire-Key, I’m currently studying Industrial Design at RMIT in Melbourne. This semester I am doing a study tour of Australia looking at projects to do with Sustainable Design and Living, Renewable Energy and Water.
I’m In Wollongong at the moment, and looking for projects happening along the east coast. At the moment my plans are to head towards Sydney, Newcastle, and then head to Bowral (to look at the transition town stuff), then onto Canberra.
I’m looking for a really broad selection of projects, so if you know of something that could be relevant, shoot me an email and I’ll chuck it into the mix.
Otherwise if your keen to see what’s happening around the rest of Oz, keep an eye out here, www.upyourjumper.wordpress.com
Catch ya about, Tim

Hi tim, check out http://www.happyearth.com.au: adventures in urban sustainability. they’re based in Wollongong and are largely self sufficient – growing most of their own produce, producing their own energy etc etc. not sure if it’s what you were after but thought it was worth suggesting… Laura.
