You have made it so great and very convenient for people with disabilities to use the internet to find accommodation. I hope we can keep in contact to each other after the conference.
Gao Yuanyuan, China Disability Institute at Renmin University of China, Beijing.
Australia For All says it hopes this information inspires all to use their website as the place of first choice when making accommodation arrangements for people with disabilities.
“With a theme of ‘Innovation with Vitality, Development for Inclusion’, the conference is hosted by Guangzhou Disabled Persons’ Federation and co-organized by Guangzhou Association of Disabled Women.
Following the last Regional Conference on Women with Disabilities held in Hong Kong in January, 2008, this will be the second grand gathering for women with disabilities in Asia.
The main purpose of the conference is to associate the disabled women organizations in Asia, especially those in East Asia and South-east Asia, and the organizations and individuals that are concerned about issues about women with disabilities.
The conference aims to exchange our views on how we can help women with disabilities to develop their potentials so that they can actively participate in social activities and share the fruits of social development on an equal footing. It is also an aim of the conference that we will try to find out the difficulties that women with disabilities are confronted with in their way of development and to explore new ideas and new solutions to overcome the difficulties. Another aim is to share experience of the progress that women with disabilities have made in different countries and regions and to improve the quality of life of local women with disabilities.www.wdconference2010.org/en/index.php

I am delighted to hear that those with disabilities will be specifically catered for with website accessibility.
As the Gov2 principles are adopted, emphasis on catering for special needs will be important to show inclusiveness in project design.
We should be striving for world standards in all endeavours
Congratulations
