PWF totally supports communities finding ways for all kinds of people to think, talk and work together to solve problems.

Dr Mark Brophy of the Australian Study Circles Network does just this with an Orientation Workshop in Marrickville, NSW this coming May.

Dialogue To Change Workshop

This workshop will explore the community engagement approach based on the 120 year Swedish study circle tradition and 20 years of development by Everyday Democracy in the US.

• Learn about the four vital planning stages to ensure action ideas are followed through

• Learn about how dialogue and deliberation help communities talk, work together, explore solutions and solve their problems

• Participate in a sample study circle

• Find out how Australia is now adopting this extremely effective civic participation method

• Establish how your organisation and community can give people a ‘voice’ on issues that matter and empower everyone to become a catalyst for action and change.

This is a participatory workshop and numbers are limited. It’s recommended you visit this web site for information.
