Is there a grey nomad – 55-60 years old – in Perth, or elsewhere – who would enjoy ‘the trip of a lifetime to the UK via India and then on to the Continent’? Joan Marshall of Perth thinks ‘there MUST be someone!’
Joan has written to PWF saying her trip is being planned for October 2012, for four or five weeks away from Australia.
She will travel to the UK stopping off at Agra, India – to see the Taj Mahal – spending one day in India, then on to Manchester in the UK, spending three days in Manchester to visit a relative of Joan’s.
The usual tourist interests in the UK will be inspected, then she will fly to Clonmel in Ireland, the purpose here being Genealogy and History.
From Ireland they will go on to the Continent.
Joan is a divorcee – in the 55 – 60 age bracket – with two adult sons. Now is the time to travel she says!
She would love to contact a lady of similar age and with similar interests. This travel companion would pay her own expenses but share car expenses.
Having a companion should make the trip more interesting.
