Social enterprises are organisations that trade to fulfill their social or community mission and Nina Yousefpour from Queensland University of Technology has emailed PWF, asking social enterprises to participate in and pass on their web survey into strategic orientation of social enterprises.
The survey, which closes soon, will take approximately 20 minutes. Anonymity and confidentiality will be safeguarded in any publication of the results of this research.
At the end of the survey, based on your survey responses, there is an option for a participating social enterprise’s profile to be assessed and forwarded to them.
Organisations have different ‘organisational cultures’: that is, different orientations and priorities that influence how they do business. Organisational culture in turn influences social and economic performance.
Learning more about the organisational cultures of social enterprises and how these relate to enterprises’ ability to generate both social benefits and financial sustainability will increase the understanding of the sector and its drivers of performance providing providing knowledge to improve state and commonwealth policies to support social enterprise.
Researchers at the University of Queensland (UQ), Queensland University of Technology (QUT), and the University of Tasmania (UTAS) have teamed up to carry out this independent research.
