Michael French, email sungod42@gmail.com, has written to us saying:

Hello, I’m 45, on a Disability pension and have been housitting and caretaking on and off for many years.

I would like to have a female companion to travel and housit with me share – to the load a bit. It would have to be a non-smoking lady, ‘no drugs or drunks’ and be a responsible person who is thrifty with finances and good with money making ideas such as markets etc.

Some good references for the jobs are essential as you are caring for people’s homes and animals.

I plan to save a deposit through housitting to get a bank loan to buy my own unit on the coast in a few year. Nambucca Heads NSW has units going for $100,000 and so does Hervey Bay – so this is a realistic aim of mine.

I like the warm climate up there and do not like cold weather so I’m looking for someone similar who likes swimming, a little gardening, the outdoors and seeing some new places.”

Good luck Michael!
