Joy Newton has contacted PWF about needing help urgently for a couple of hours a day with cleaning/hospitality.
Joy writes:
“We have Mt Ive sheep station in the Gawler Ranges, outback SA, diversified with a small tourist venture, using our shearers quarters facility for accom. and offering a number of 4×4 tracks to diverse scenic spots.
The helper needs to be flexible with only a couple of hours work a day…depending on numbers of guests.
We are off the beaten track so usually only get the genuine traveller looking for the real outback experience away from the crowds. There will be ample time to enjoy our beautiful property and the surrounding area.
We offer accommodation or a powered site, all phone calls and internet and some station meat (salt bush mutton)in exchange for a couple hours help.
A small remuneration can be paid if it is necessary for more work. Odd jobs or checking of tracks, watering trees/plants, keeping the donkey stoked etc are all little things that help us heaps.
I’m attaching our brochure for more info on what we offer as far as the tourism goes.”
Joy hopes a PWF reader may be able to help out.
