About The Awards
The Social Enterprise Awards are the national awards for Australian social enterprise. The 2014 Award applications are open till 28 March and will be awarded in late May 2014.
Run by Social Traders, the aim of the Awards is to increase awareness of the role and diversity of social enterprises in Australia.
Social Traders’ research estimates that there are up to 20,000 social enterprises operating in every industry of the Australian economy.
Social enterprises are innovative, mature and sustainable with 60% of enterprises surveyed operating at least for 10 years.

Australian Social Enterprise of the Year (small) – $5000
Australian Social Enterprise of the Year (large) – $5000
One to Watch Award – $5000
Social Investment Award – Flights, accommodation and ticket to an international conference of your choice
Social Innovation Award – Flights, accommodation and ticket to an international conference of your choice
‘Buy Social’ Award – The honour and recognition of this great award
