The Wilderness Society Inc has been Australia’s most successful nature conservation organisation since the world renowned 1976 Franklin River Campaign. The Society is dedicated to the protection and restoration of wilderness and wildlife in precious areas across all Australia’s territories including the wilderness of Antarctica. Reporting to the Board you will provide leadership to the National Executive Team and ensure that the Society has the organisational excellence needed to win Australia’s biggest environmental campaigns. This will involve fundraising, membership, finance, communications, administration, HR and IT. You have extensive experience as a CEO or COO in either the not-for-profit or commercial sectors and possess strong commercial acumen. This must be coupled with a commitment to environmental responsibility.
