There will be an intensive three day sales training program for business owners and staff who sell to ‘major accounts’ in March and April 2011.
Daryl Brooke of One Tree Hill Consulting, will run the sessions over three weeks to spread the time commitment.
Major accounts are the vital customer accounts from whom you get a significant portion of business.
Participants will learn how to serve major accounts customers better and increase profitable sales through a practical learning experience and hand-on procedures.
Participants will also learn how to target new business with realistic action plans and sales budgets.
The location of the program best suits businesses in Nillumbik and the NE Melbourne area, but future programs could be run to suit other audiences.
I met Daryl through the stimulating discussions over brekkie at Hurstbridge, part of the Nillumbik Home Based Business Network program.
In my experience Daryl is a very clear business thinker. In his consulting work, largely in Melbourne’s NE, he helps business owners clarify their goals and then seek practical systems to implement these.
Daryl is chair of the Eltham Community Bank Steering Committee and has recently been appointed to the Valley Community Financial Services Board that oversees the Hurstbridge, Diamond Creek, Kinglake, Doreen and Mernda Community Banks.
After some years working with fire-affected farm businesses for Nillumbik Shire Daryl and his wife Natalie are keen to connect food growers and producers in a 30 km radius around Eltham through Local Futures Food, a community supported agriculture project run by Natalie.
