The 2nd Sustaining Rural Communities National Conference will be held at the Crossing Theatre, Narrabri, NSW on the 5th and 6th April 2011 with the theme of ‘Transforming Regional Australia’.
Registrations close 31st March 2011 and registration is required to attend.
This FREE Conference is about empowering people in regional communities.
The Conference will also tackle how people and communities successfully address everyday challenges of community survival, as well as tools, technologies, infrastructure and policy changes that can be fashioned to ensure Australia’s regions survive.

The evening meals will be charged at $35.00 for the Monday Welcome Reception and $65.00 for the Tuesday Dinner.

Community Action Grants..$2,000 – 3 only
The Community Action Grants aim to assist, in the planning and implementation of events/projects which will increase the sustainability of a rural community.
People who wish to apply for these grants will need to attend the conference.
