HEALTH AND MEDICAL EDUCATION PROJECT OFFICER
The Rural Health Education Foundation is seeking a dynamic, experienced Health and Medical Education Project Officer to work with us on the development and production of a wide range of professional development television projects for rural and remote health professionals. This full-time position is in the Foundation’s new centrally located Canberra office, close to recreation facilities. Working as part of a team, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in health and medical education and clinical practice and your excellent research and project management skills to organise, create, produce, distribute and evaluate our programs. You will liaise with program partners, expert medical panel members and television production personnel. SUPPORT COORDINATOR
Focus ACT (a not-for-profit non-government Incorporated Association that offers housing and accommodation support to adults who have an intellectual disability) has an opening for a temporary full time Support Coordinator to join their friendly team in Canberra for 12 months.The purpose of this role is to relieve care workers and senior staff of their duties while they take their long service leave and/or annual leave entitlements. TEAM LEADER- DEST Executive Level 2
The Programme Development Team has responsibility for managing the development and implementation and supporting the effective delivery of the Whole of School Intervention (WoSI) strategy and the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS), both significant elements of Indigenous education programmes funded under the Indigenous Education (Targeted Assistance) Act 2000. The job will be responsible for the Programme Development Team within the Branch. The successful applicant will adopt a collaborative and collegiate approach in pursuing outcomes together with both internal and external stakeholders, consistent with the Department’s ‘Open for Business’ philosophy. The duties of this position will involve the development of policy or programmes relating to Indigenous Australian people, and/or involve interaction with Indigenous Australian communities. You will needs an understanding of the issues affecting Indigenous Australian people and have an ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with them.
