Leigh Baker, sustainability consultant of Balance 3 tells us she heard Better Lifestyle Products’ Jenny Walker speak at a 2007 Grow Me The Money event. Using dispensers for toiletries in hotels rather than individual take away packs was the example. Jenny’s hospitality customers are finding this practice reduces physical waste and also housekeeping costs.

The Better Living Products website discusses a cost effective way for hospitality businesses – and private households – to eliminate all the problems of the individually packaged soaps, shampoos, conditioners and lotions. It’s a matter of de-bottling the shower!

Guest surveys show:

• 95% of guests appreciate the dispenser for both comfort, hygiene, and environmental sensitivity. Its usefulness on the environmental front is seen as a positive effort by the hosts. Guest see it as being extremely easy to use, convenient and practical.
