BiographyOf One Of The Ten Presenters
ROD MYER is an author, journalist and communicator who has spent over 20 years in the Australian media. He has worked as a business journalist for The Age, The Sunday Age, the Herald Sun and The Herald. He also has experience in the electronic media having made documentaries for ABC radio programs including Background Briefing and Technology Report and produced current affairs radio for 3RRR and Public Radio News. He has also written extensively for the internet.
Rod is also an experienced speech writer and worked in this capacity for the Australian Democrats in Canberra and Melbourne during the 1980s. He is the author of Living the Dream, the biography of Melbourne businessman and philanthropist Victor Smorgon and has published a volume of his own poetry entitled Prayers for a Modern Man.
