She sits on various boards including NAB’s Indigenous Advisory Board and the Board of the Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre. A former CEO of Supply Nation – a social enterprise that integrates Indigenous Australian owned, controlled and managed businesses into the supply chains of Australia’s largest companies and government agencies – Natalie’s entrepreneurial/problem-solving spirit has led her to establish Inside Policy, where today she is Managing Director.

How It Works

Inside Policy is a social enterprise that brings together inventive minds from a range of disciplines to help people solve complex social, cultural and economic policy problems. It works with clients/people ‘with ideas’ to clearly define and understand the problem they are trying to solve. It provides insight and new directions to develop a practical game plan that will achieve positive change.

In partnership with the ideas people, Inside Policy uses an engagement approach that combines digital and traditional methods to reach the community, build their trust, enable them to participate and gather their insights.

Over six weeks the experiences and insights of a representative community sample is collated. Then, still in partnership with the client, a review framework is designed and implemented. This ‘co-designed approach’ is unlike any other in Australia.
