Remote Grey Nomad Jobs – Mataranka NT, Bonang Tubbut, Vic.

The idea of a Grey Nomad Jobs and Skills Register is slowly ‘getting out there’. We have two new expressions of interest – one from a NT cattle station and one from a property in Victoria’s remote far east Gippsland.

1. Bonang Tubbut Far East Gippsland

Deb Foskey has written saying:

“I live in a part of Victoria about as remote as you can get – in Victoria. The area is Bonang Tubbut, about 110 kilometres north of Orbost in the bush! There is a small community, unfortunately staying small.

I would love visitors who are interested in doing a bit of plumbing, fencing and/or carpentry. Very happy to provide accommodation and meals for the right, interested person.”

2. NT Cattle Station, Numul Numul, Mataranka

Moira Lanzarin writes saying she has an opportunity that

• Care-taker type role
• General minor station maintenance, stock water and lick runs
• Assistance with stock work as per experience and interest
• Some domestic duties
