Australasian backpacker website growing rapidly

With the recent launch of the new web site http://www.backpackersworld.com.au, run by Backpackers World Travel (BWT), who claim to be the largest backpackers travel company in Australia New Zealand and Fiji, both backpackers and suppliers got a new resource, which COULD become ‘the pre-eminent backpacker web site’ in Australasia. The site grew rapidly in the short period up to Christmas giving backpackers access to nearly 500 products whilst providing suppliers with extensive distribution and exposure to the backpacker market.

There is a comprehensive online booking system for a wide range of product – from yacht cruising in the Whitsundays, outback tours, day tours and attractions, transport, bus passes to accommodation. Promotional packages are also included such as ‘Best of the West’, part of the SA, WA and NT ‘Authentic Journeys’ marketing campaign and Victorian Commonwealth Games packages. Suppliers to Backpacker’s World Travel are able to load and manage their own product for sale via the BWT website.
