As usual at this glorious time of year there is heaps on everywhere, even in Victoria where there is stiff competition in the shape of the Comm.Games!
Maree Wallace, West Gippsland’s very competent ‘What’s on’ journo has forwarded this invitation to all food and wine lovers.
On Friday 17 March – St Patrick’s Day if I’m not mistaken – from 12 noon till 4pm there will be twenty two long tables set out along the trestle bridge at Noojee – around 107 kms east of Melbourne – for a very long lunch. ‘Slow food’ in a spectacular setting served up by Noojee’s Outpost Restaurant.
Locally produced food and wine will feature on a menu created by talented local chefs and beer drinkers will be served award-winning beers from the Grand Ridge Brewery. Music will also be provided – all for $90pp.
