Melbourne’s Xris Reardon from Third-Way Theatre reminds us about the up and coming 3-day workshop on the Art of Peace starting Friday 18 September. The workshop will be run jointly by Xris and Richard Barber from Makhampon, Thailand.

Richard Barber works with the Makampom foundation in Thailand and has 20 years of practice in diverse conflict situations in the Asia-Pacific region. He has
developed this ‘Art of Peace’ methodology.
Xris Reardon, Artistic Director of Third-Way Theatre, has worked with diverse communities both in Melbourne and overseas on issues related to prisonisation, domestic violence, racism and homophobia, mental health, poverty, etc.
Richard and Xris’s work references Paolo Freire, Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed, and uses a community cultural development approach.
