‘Connect Event’ June 20th in Doncaster, Vic.
John Kirkhope had a dream. He had been working for Dunlop for some years when he realised that he had to go out on his own to make his dream come true. He wanted to create a quality leather shoe as a true fashion accessory, and he wanted to make it in Australia ? but he was determined to ?get it right?.
He packed up and went overseas to observe how quality was combined with functionality in shoes in America and Italy. He came home, ?bit the bullet? and took the risk to set up the fashion label of Diana Ferrari ? the rest is history. The Dianna Ferrari brand has been synonymous with quality shoes, in the fashion world of Australia and overseas, for years.
John will share his story at the 20 June Connect Event – the story of a ?self made man? who had a dream and made it come true. In true Aussie style he will tell how he overcame problems and how he made this business so successful.
