Penn’s ‘Courage To Change’

Penn’s ultimate goal is to inspire people to have the courage to change themselves.

How?

Through embracing the capacity to love – oneself and others – to stop and forgive and reconnect with society on a deeper level and to spread this love through their communities, just as Penn has learned how to do this.

The Campaign

Penn’s ‘Courage to Change’ campaign aims to encourage and support individuals to the positive over the negative and respect over intolerance.

HOW Will The Campaign DO This?

Penn and her support team will ride 21,000kms around Australia to raise awareness of the violence and racial prejudice in this country and to raise funds for the Quest for Life Foundation.

Penn’s Personal Goals

Penn will raise awareness of her campaign by riding her motorbike around Australia. She would like to see this ride become an annual fundraising event. She aims to:

• raise money for The Quest for Life Foundation
• visit The Quest for Life Centre
• meet with Petrea King and help to publicise the work they do
• donate her 1961 Gibson SG guitar (same guitar as played by Angus from ACDC) for auction with proceeds going to The Quest for Life Centre
• encourage families and friends to stop and forgive, catch up (whether for a cuppa or a holiday) and to reconnect with each other
• encourage people to make the change to love. Discover how you can love who you are. Develop the courage to love yourself
• tell people they love and care about each other when they’re alive, rather than at their funeral. LUMU (Love You Miss You)
• have as many of ner friends who ride motorbikes (or want to be a pillion) to join the crew on the ride at any stage they desire
• have as many bikers/ adventurers /travellers to join the ride and complete whatever stage that suits them to raise funds along the way
