Elizabeth is a ‘grey nomad widow’. She’s in good shape – no illnesses! – and she lives in Frankston, Victoria.
Elizabeth is writing a novel and planning lots of travelling. She has recently returned from India which she thoroughly enjoyed. She’s also planning an African safari trip at the end of this year.
Elizabeth and her husband had a ‘fifth wheeler’ which, when he died, she traded in for her Winnebago motorhome. Elizabeth drove it up to Kyogle last year with her two little Tonkinese cats, Mia and Silky, who are well behaved and travel well. She has a bicycle that she can put on the back of the vehicle and on this trip she stayed mostly in caravan parks.
This winter Elizabeth would like to travel north again and maybe west and she would like to would like to find a compatible companion to share the driving. She can meet a prospective companion at a mutually satisfactory meeting place if they don’t live in Frankston.

‘The Belics’ have also recently contacted PWF about travel companions – they say they are interested in going to West Australia in April for gold prospecting.
They have their own 4 wheel drive and all the necessary equipment and have been to Western Ausralia several times before so know the way through several areas.
They would like company for safety reasons, someone with a 4 wheel drive also.
Please get in touch, anyone who is interested, and they can forward more details.

Hi,
Looking forward to travelling next year,2011. I am nearly 60 and feel I own it to myself to do things that I enjoy. These include, Metal detecting, fossicking, fishing, etc. I intend to mostly bush camp, as the caravan parks are getting rather expensive. I would like to travel with someone, who has their own unit, but travel together. My husband does not want to travel, so if I have to, I’ll go it alone, but would prefer someone who has the same interests. I’m easy-going, quite, love to have a laugh, honest, reliable, trustworthy. If there is anyone out there who is also looking for a travel companion, and would like to meet up, I’m waiting. I live in Caboolture Qld.
I am a recent young retiree. At age 55, I have been told that I am too young to retiree but having witnessed a few friends who either died young or are now in a nursing home, I just want to leave the drudgery of work and travel. I have travelled extensively previously in Asia, Europe and the North American continent.
My preference now is to travel in Asia because the dollars stretches further in these parts of the world. Willing to consider other destinations.
I am physically fit as I work out at the gym. I also practice meditation and yoga. I love food, have a great sense of humour and I am warm, compassionate and flexible. I prize honesty and sincerity. I think most problems that cropped up can be resolved with open communication.
The companion that I seek hopefully enjoy the same interests and attributes I have listed. If you are interested, please get in touch with me at freespirite@y7mail.com
