The Cancer Council Victoria (a non-government charity) is seeking a full-time Project Assistant for one of its fundraising teams, coordinating three well-recognised events – Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, Girls Night In and Pink Ribbon Day.
The Project Assistant will form part of the Victorian event team responsible for ensuring that these events achieve the overall objectives set at a state and national level. The Project Assistant will focus on event administration, past participant outbound call strategy, and event logistics.
The preferred applicant will have degree qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent knowledge gained from relevant experience. The position requires an enthusiastic individual with excellent computer and customer service skills, who is highly adaptable, well organised and has the ability to remain calm under pressure.
