In Victoria – a local government & community group partnerships kit under way

Are you part of a good relationship or partnership with your local government? The Victorian Association of Neighbourhood Houses and Learning Centres (ANHLC)wants examples/case studies from this sector for possible inclusion in a ‘Local Government Partnerships Kit’ being developed at the moment.

Please email a brief outline of your experience by 14 June 2005 to anhlc@anhlc.asn.au including the following info:

1)How was the partnership developed?
2)What are the elements of the relationship that make it a partnership?
3)What elements really work for the house/centre?
4)What benefits have you gained from the partnership?
5)What are the pitfalls to be mindful of when developing a successful partnership?

Any documentation eg policy statements, memorandums of understanding, funding and service agreements etc should be attached.
