Grants from $2,000 – $30,000 for Community Inclusion for the disabled in Victoria

Applications for this ANZ Bank Program close 1 September 2005. Funding is available for Victorian projects with the following aims:

1) Enabling children with physical disabilities to gain access to mainstream community activities.

2)Providing access to work, education and mainstream community activities for people with physical, intellectual or psychiatric disabilities.

Guidelines for ‘preferred projects’:

(i) Pilots or trials thta potentially offer a sustainable solution to an eccess issue;
(ii) A thoroughly considered and mapped sustainability proposal;

iii) Stated outputs and outcomes and the measures that will assess whether these have been achieved;

(iv) Inclusion of an evaluation of appropriate complexity and scope to the magnitude and design of the project;

(v) Clearly defined need and identified disadvantage;

(vi)Leverage potential, or impact that extends beyond the target group;

(vii) Development or building on existing organisational strength;

(viii) A contribution to knowledge and practice in the sector of operation.
