In its second issue, August 2005, The Bite reports that Tourism Australia’s UK targeted working holiday website work.australia.com has become the most successful online campaign ever for the UK.
The site, which includes information on working and travelling in Australia, received an incredible 122,467 responses during the campaign’s first stage which ran from May 19 to June 30. The campaign has also been launched in the Netherlands (with an initial response of more than 7600 hits) and the micro site has also been loaded onto Tourism Australia’s Irish, Swedish and Danish sites.
