A National Leadership Achievement Award Program for women is being launched by the Australian Virtual Centre for Leadership for Women (CLW) to celebrate its five year anniversary this month.
The Award has been established to recognise women in the community who use their own initiative to create and implement projects for the benefit of the community and in collaboration with the community.
It is open to all Australian women 18 years and above. There is no fee for entry. The Award will encompass achievements by the entrants for the year prior and up to the closing date. It is unique in that it is a nationwide award for women who take on voluntary leadership roles in the community.
The 2005 – 2006 Award is being sponsored by Fernwood Women’s Health Club, motherInc.com.au and Living Now magazine.
