Trends in community-arts collaborations – PhD Scholarship advertised

This?research topic for a PhD Scholarship is currently being advertised at the University of Western Sydney (UWS) Centre for Cultural Research (CCR) in Arts and Community Collaboration.

The?project is part of a 3 year research program, “The Art of? Engagement: Exploring a Contemporary Arts-Business Collaboration” and is funded under the Australian Research Council’s Linkage scheme.

Criteria:

* First Class Bachelor Honours degree in Cultural Studies, Art History, Creative Industries (or?related disciplines), or equivalent qualifications and professional experience;

* An interest in community-arts engagement and the changing role of
contemporary art in urban life;

* Knowledge of cultural development and arts-based activity in Greater Western Sydney is desirable;

* Prior professional experience or research assistant experience is desirable.
