‘Cell Phones: Invisible Hazards in the Wireless Age’
This book and the whole issue of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) in our world today has been flagged by PWF reader Russell Moody of EnviroProducts (Vic) Pty Ltd who has provided the following info.
The book was written in the US by Dr. George Carlo, a medical epidemiologist, and Martin Schram. The pair was hired by the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) to direct its 5 year, $25 million study on the risks of cell phone useage. Carlo didn’t end up finding the results the industry expected and was fired and discredited….similar to the cigarette company saga?
Several reviewers gave the book the thumbs up in 2000 when it was first published – really interesting to those into wireless technology or the politics of research!
What are the problems?
Many medical practitioners around the world have condemned mobile/cell phones as far back as the mid 1980s. Seven major class actions are before the courts in North America – mostly with cancer oriented claims – and the first has recently won its case.
Can we DO anything about the problems?
BIOPRO Technology Australasia Pty Ltd has patented ‘cell chips’ – Energy Resonance Technology (ERT™) products – which can be attached to devices emitting EMR making them ‘harmless’. Russell invites people to contact him for further advice on these products which he says are not expensive and once applied will last for the life of the device.

What are your thoughts on the problem and a possible solution?
PWF has previously written about Russell’s passion for a better quality of life and his range of machines that – through ionisation and electronic ozone generation – bring relief for allergy sufferers.
