Tourism Queensland reports that spending by international tourists in Australia rose by almost 10 percent during the last financial year, to $13 billion.
According to a new report by Tourism Research Australia, while there has been only a modest growth of one percent in the number of international tourists in the 12 months to June 2006, those visitors were spending more (up $1.2 billion), staying longer (+3 nights) and dispersing more into regional areas (+3 percent).

I wonder how many of these visitors were people with disabilities and how much they were spending on accommodation which was not accessible for them even though they were told it was.
