Amnesty International Australia – Human Resources Manager *
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a dynamic senior HR & IR Generalist. Reporting to the Director, Organisational Development and supporting the needs of 70 paid staff and many more volunteers and activists, this role is designed for a HR professional who loves to be challenged and rewarded. You will play an integral role in developing the strategic model of human resources, and supporting the creation of positive cultures. You will also be responsible for conducting operational human resource practices, overseeing a part-time HR Coordinator and supporting Senior and Line Managers in initiatives that affect organisational behaviour. Tertiary qualifications in human resource management with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a not for profit or unionised environment is considered essential as is highly developed written and verbal communication skills, a very professional approach and an ability to demonstrate past “change” success. This role offers an opportunity to work for an organisation that helps and saves the lives of individuals. This position may be based in either Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Brisbane. Salary is negotiable.
